INVERCLYDE'S MP is urging people to have their say in the future of local community councils.
Inverclyde Council is currently holding a public consultation on the local set-up.
Changes are being proposed which could see the overall number of them decreased.
Ronnie Cowan MP says it is vital that people take the chance to make their views known on the matter.
He said: "I would ask everyone that cares about their community to feed into this consultation and let the council understand your requirements."
