A MAN has been charged with an alleged proceeds of crime offence said to total more than £4,000.
Kieran McNally, 25, is accused of receiving transfers of large sums of money at the RBS branch on Greenock's Cartsdyke Avenue and elsewhere over a two-day period.
Prosecutors claim that a total of £4,400 came from the account of a named woman and that McNally was in breach of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.
He is accused of withdrawing funds arising from alleged fraudulent conduct on July 15 and 16, 2020.
McNally, who address was not given in court, has pleaded pleaded not guilty through a letter, with the case now due to call again on October 3.
