AN emergency alert saw fire crews rush to a Greenock high rise.
The 999 alert was sparked last night at Ravenscraig Court, just after 5pm.
Three appliances were sent to the scene and some residents were seen standing outside the building.
The Scottish Fire & Rescue Service has confirmed that the call-out turned out to be a false alarm.
