INVERCLYDE Council planners have rejected a proposal to form a driveway in front of a home in Greenock's east end.
Plans to carry out excavation and building works to create a new driveway in front of a home on Bawhirley Road have been refused permission.
In their decision notice, planners said the development would 'adversely affect the efficient operation of the transport and active travel network'.
They also claimed the proposed driveway would harm the character and appearance of the street frontage.
