The donation drive was in aid of Euan’s Cause, which was set up to remember little Euan Clark, who tragically passed away at the age of only 18 months in 2012 while waiting for a heart transplant.
His parents Robert and Nicola have been fundraising for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity ever since the tragedy.
Their latest event, a charity football event at the Battery Park followed by a social event at the Horse Shoe Bar in Greenock, proved a huge hit and raised thousands more for the worthy cause.
The incredible fundraising effort caught the eye of Rangers boss Beale, who sent a video message hailing the efforts of those part on the day, which was posted on the Horse Shoe Bar's Facebook page.
He said: “I just wanted to send a message to everyone to say well done on today and not just today in memory of Euan Clark but all the other years as well.
“You’ve all got together and done so much good fundraising and the money you’ve raised is outstanding.
“Well done to everybody and I hope you have a good evening and afternoon together.”
