THE owners of a popular Greenock bar and restaurant have been named as one of the industry’s top employers.

Buzzworks scooped the Hospitality Employer of the Year prize at the Scottish Pub and Bar Awards.

The company runs Scotts at Greenock Ocean Terminal, which opened in June, as well as branches in Largs, Troon and South Queensferry.

Buzzworks also oversees the The Coach House in Bridge of Weir, among several other sites across Scotland.

Awards organiser Susan Young said: “These awards recognise and celebrate the efforts of the owners and their employees that give Scotland a hospitality industry that is worth shouting about. I take my hat off to all of them.”
