A LUXURIOUS cruise ship has arrived in Greenock for her third and final visit of the season.
Le Champlain can carry up to 260 passengers across her seven decks, as well as over 100 crew members.
The vessel is owned by Ponant, who describe her as ‘cosily intimate’ and able to explore some of the world’s most remote regions.
Le Champlain boasts several notable features, including its ‘Blue Eye’ underwater lounge which has large, oval-shaped portholes.
There is also a spa, panoramic lounge, pool deck and a hydraulic platform allowing for swimming in the sea and various nautical sports.
The ship left Rosyth last Wednesday and has since made stops in ports including Aberdeen, Kirkwall and Lerwick.
Le Champlain played a role in one of Greenock Ocean Terminal's busiest days on record earlier this summer when she berthed alongside the 4,218-capacity MSC Virtuosa.
