A PAIR of Greenock men have admitted drug possession and supply charges while two co-accused women have been cleared of the same allegations.
Scott McPhee and William McPhee appeared in the dock at Greenock Sheriff Court alongside Mackenzie Turner and Zarah Archdeacon.
All four were accused of being concerned in the supplying of cocaine and cannabis, while a third indictment charge claimed they were found with class B amphetamine on February 23 last year at properties in Greenock and elsewhere.
Scott McPhee, 34, pleaded guilty to the amphetamine possession charge through solicitor Aidan Gallagher and 23-year-old William McPhee, represented by Gemma Laird, admitted the cannabis supply charge.
Turner, 20, of Grey Place, and Archdeacon, 25, of Gallahill Avenue in Port Glasgow, were both acquitted of the charges having had not guilty pleas accepted by the Crown.
Sheriff Seith Ireland called for background reports before passing sentence and the men, both of Shankland Road, are due to return to court on October 18.
