A WORLD leading psychic from Inverclyde who has battled a rare eye disease and suffered the tragic loss of his dad at a young age is set to share his remarkable journey in the hope of helping others.
Dominic Boag, 31, is releasing his memoir 'The Voice of Spirit', which he hopes will carry a message of triumph over adversity as he writes candidly about the events that have shaped his life.
For the last decade Dominic has toured the UK and the USA working as a medium, connecting with audiences from all walks of life as well.
He has also been drafted in to help with high profile missing person cases, as well as reaching out to the bereaved with grief counselling.
Spiritualist Dominic was only 14 when he lost his father, ex-Morton captain John Boag.
Then four years later he started to lose his sight as a result of a rare disease, with no cure or effective treatment for his condition.
Dominic is set to launch his new book in Greenock with a special question and answer session at the Tontine Hotel.
He said: “I am absolutely thrilled to be hosting this event in my beloved home town of Greenock.
"It's a very exciting occasion for me and I can't wait to share the insights and experiences that have shaped 'The Voice of Spirit' with the community that has supported me throughout this incredible journey.
“This book is not just my story; it's a testament to the power of resilience, faith, and the boundless potential that lies within each of us.
"I am excited about connecting with everyone who attends and offering them a glimpse into the transformative world of spirit communication. "
Dominic says he first began to hear his late father’s voice shortly after his death.
By the age of 19, Dominic had already embarked on a globetrotting mission, providing comfort and guidance to people grappling with grief, just as he had experienced as a young boy.
Since then he has used his ability to to offer solace to countless individuals worldwide.
Dominic, who is originally from Port Glasgow, said: "I want to show the world that having a disability doesn't define your potential, nor does it prevent you from achieving success.
"My life story is testament to the fact that with determination, support and self-belief, anyone can overcome obstacles and achieve their dreams.
"My encounters with grief and loss have inspired me to use my psychic gifts to bring comfort to others
" If my journey can be a source of inspiration for others facing challenges, then I consider that a success."
