TOP Inverclyde band The Laurettes are releasing their first single Witches from their debut album today.
The all-female line up fronted by Lauren O'Donoghue and Lynette Beaton have taken inspiration from the story of the Inverkip witches for their first track.
Since securing a label with Wee Studio Records and going into record, The Laurettes have been busy touring festivals across the country, playing in front of 30,000-crowds and working with some top names.
The band have enjoyed a meteoric rise for the band having played at Murrayfield, New York and recently featured on Michelle McManus's live show on BBC Radio Scotland.
Lynette said: "It has been an incredible two years, we are living the dream, playing to brilliant crowds.
"I hope everyone enjoys our album, we have had a fantastic time pulling it together."
