INVERCLYDE Council has turned down a grant bid from the museum in Greenock dedicated to celebrating late artist George Wyllie.
The George Wyllie Foundation had asked for almost £10,000 to help the new Wyllieum in Greenock offer a four-day education programme to 'explore art mediums' and hold a community celebration day.
But the application has been rejected by councillors.
