ANOTHER busy cruise ship season is drawing to a close in Greenock, with just three major arrivals scheduled before the end of October.
World Traveller, a luxury yacht-style ship owned by Atlas Ocean Voyages, will kick things off when she arrives tomorrow.
The eight-deck vessel made her Greenock debut earlier this year amid a busy nine day spell for the ocean terminal.
The elegant craft boasts 98 staterooms and is capable of accommodating 196 guests and 127 crew.
She is berthing in Greenock as part of an eight day cruise from Leith to Dublin, and will stay for most of Monday before departing for the Isle Of Man in the evening.
The area’s next visitor, Regal Princess, will be a familiar sight for locals as she makes her 14th and final visit of the season on October 5.
She is operated by Princess Cruise Lines and can carry almost 4,300 passengers.
Her visit will be part of a 12-day cruise round trip voyage.
Greenock’s final visitor before the season draws to a close will be stopping off in the area as part of a 107-day global voyage.
Pacific World, the largest craft ever sailed in the 37-year history of her owners Peace Boat, has nine passenger decks and ferries its passengers on round-the-world cruises.
The vessel was built in 1995 as ‘Sun Princess’ by Princess Cruises, but was sold in mid-September 2020 and later renamed Pacific World by her new owners.
