SCOTTISH Power bosses apologised after a power cut affected hundreds of homes in Greenock's west end and Gourock.
The fault occurred last night around 8pm and it affected the PA16 and PA19 areas.
Engineers were sent to deal with the problem.
It was a couple of hours before supplies were fully restored.
Scottish Power told customers they were sorry for the inconvenience and thanked them for their patience.
