A FUN day out in a Greenock pub has raised vital cash for a charity close to local people's hearts.
Staff and regulars at Chaplins came together for their annual fundraising event in aid of Ardgowan Hospice.
By closing time they had managed to bring in £2,500 through games of pool, a quiz and prize raffle.
There was even a chance to sing your favourite tune on karaoke for £1.
Member of staff Eileen Kane said: "The Chaplins fundraiser for the hospice is always a great day.
"The hospice has helped almost everyone in this town at some time or another.
"Patricia Brogan organises it and we have been doing this for about 15 years and always get terrific support."
Regulars like Michell Carey have been taking part in the fundraiser since it started.
She said: "The hospice has helped my family before, everyone knows it. It is close to all our hearts so we love the annual hospice charity day."
Chaplins has donated thousands of pounds for the hospice over the years.
Hospice fundraiser Leona Gallacher said: "We really appreciate Chaplins' support for Ardgowan every single year, it is fantastic and helps so many people."
