A NEW Pride mural celebrating inclusivity and diversity is to be installed at Inverclyde Royal Hospital.
Working in partnership with ArtisanArtworks and the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde LGBTQ+ staff forum, the design will highlight the Pride flag, its origin, history, meaning and the importance to the LGBTQ+ community.
The flag will be positioned at the top of a corridor, with a short text giving those taking in the exhibition a deeper insight into its importance.
There are also plans to incorporate a timeline of LGBTQ+ rights in Scotland as part of the final design.
Amanda Law, chair of the NHS GGC LGBTQ+ staff forum, said: “This artwork is a clear display of our commitment to LGBTQ+ inclusion but also an opportunity for education and to raise awareness."
