CARDWELL Garden Centre has lined up a spook-tacular event in the run-up to Halloween this year - and bosses say it really is 'pumpkin' to talk about.
Youngsters and grown-ups can take part in their free Halloween treasure hunt every day from now until October 31.
People can also pick their own pumpkin to carve from Cardwell's specially created pumpkin patch.
Treasure hunters will have to be brave as they follow a spooky trail through the garden centre, dodging ghosts, creeping past giant spiders and wandering past witches in the search for six hidden pumpkins.
When those taking part find all six they will be entered into a prize draw to win a Halloween goody bag.
Visitors to the popular garden centre can then pick their own pumpkin from the Cardwell Pumpkin Patch.
There’s also a Halloween 'selfie zone' set up in the garden centre where you can take photographs beside a witch and a smoking cauldron, plus special Halloween-themed kids’ lunch packs available from the Patio Café.
Cardwell’s retail general manager, Paul Carmichael said: “It’s Halloween, so let’s have some fun.
“The youngsters will love taking part in in our Halloween treasure hunt and then they can pick their own pumpkin to take home and carve a funny or frightening face.
"With a candle inside the pumpkin they can create magic in the night when pumpkins glow by moonlight!
“We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to Cardwell this Halloween.”
