RAIL passengers in Inverclyde are being urged to have their say on the area's proposed new train timetables.
ScotRail's plans include an increase in services on the Wemyss Bay line, with two trains running each way per hour.
These trains would stop at all stations, with the two hourly Gourock trains missing a number of stops to reduce their overall journey time to and from Glasgow.
Bosses are consulting on the changes until November 20 and want to bring them into place by next summer.
MSP Ross Greer said: This proposed increase service on the Wemyss Bay line should make it even easier for those currently reliant on their car to make the switch to commuting by train.
“I encourage readers to take a few minutes to check the proposed timetables and make their views known.”
