WESTERN Ferries has suspended services on its McInroy's Point to Hunters Quay crossing this morning due to the windy conditions caused by Storm Babet.
The company says that there will be a review carried out at noon, to see if the route can restart.
Meanwhile the area's three CalMac services have also been put out of action.
Eight crossings between Wemyss Bay and Rothesay were called off early this morning and there will be a review around 9.30am.
The Gourock to Dunoon and Gourock to Kilcreggan ferries are also off.
Of the latter, CalMac said: "Due to forecast of strong winds and associated swell, all sailings on this route have been cancelled.
"The weather and forecasts will be monitored throughout the day and any significant improvement which may lead to a service being operated will be explored.
"However, this is extremely unlikely given the extreme forecast and well publicised weather expected throughout the country."
