A MAN is said to have broken into a Port Glasgow home and stolen a toothbrush and jewellery while on bail.
Prosecutors claim that 46-year-old Kevin Nicholas illegally entered the house in Woodhall Terrace on May 31 last year.
According to the Crown, Nicholas stole a bracelet, necklace, toothbrush and a bangle.
It is alleged that he committed the offence while subject to a court bail order granted in April 2021.
The accused, of Hay Street, appeared from custody at Greenock Sheriff Court to maintain his not guilty plea through his solicitor.
Sheriff James Spy continued the case to a jury trial on January 22.
