Pic1: In all my years of taking pictures of people retiring from the workplace, I have seldom seen such an outpouring of good wishes, and sadness too from a grateful public. Popular vet Neil McIntosh of Abbey Vet group is hanging up his stethoscope after caring for animals of all varieties for almost 40 years.
Pic2: Loyal customers of Greenock's New Dawn Bookshop and Cafe expressed their sadness at the news of the popular social hub closing its doors after 30 years. I took this picture of cafe head Chris Jewell as he told of his anguish at making the decision to close.
Pic3: Hundreds of Inverclyde people turned out to support Kyla McKinlay when she put in the miles to raise funds for Ardgowan Hospice and Breast Cancer Care. The inspirational mum handed over a staggering cash boost of £12,000 to hospice staff.
Pic4: Pupils of St Andrew's Primary School in Greenock held a very successful fundraiser as part of the big Macmillan coffee morning support initiative.
The kids sold a variety of tasty, homemade goodies for their charity drive.
