A CO-OP cash boost is set to boost the coffers of 12 local good causes.
Thanks to Co-op members swiping or scanning their membership card when buying own-brand products and services, the organisations will receive funds for local projects.
Just under £30k is being shared in Greenock and the surrounding areas.
Awards include £2,787 for 5th Greenock and District Scout Group and £1,275 for Largs Lifeboat Station.
Rebecca Birkbeck, Director of Community and Member Participation at Co-op, said: “We’re really proud of our Local Community Fund and the impact it’s had supporting thousands of local causes across the UK.
"These groups deliver incredible grassroot projects, enabling them to provide important services, support and activities for their diverse communities.
