Pic1: Ellen Ballantyne of Stafford Road, Greenock said a big thanks to the Telegraph for the removal of unsightly guy wires supporting a phone pole in her back garden. After Ellen's concerns over the wire taking up a large part of her green, engineers re-rigged the structure to free up the space taken up by the offending pole, which will enable her to go ahead with fitting decking.
Pic2: Young animal artists Finn Dyer and Summer Brown are seen here with drawings they have made as apart of their 'poorly drawn pet portraits' money spinner for Ardgowan Hospice. For a donation to hospice funds, you too can have a portrait of your pet by sending a picture to marketing@ardgowanhospice.org
Pic3: I took this picture of Telegraph Community Champion Skye McCabe as her drive to help children less fortunate gathered pace. Skye is selling Christmas-themed goodies in Watson Craft Butchers, Tesco and at Unique in Greenock Oak Mall. The money made from her sales will go to the purchase of toys for children in need.
Pic4: Tele reporter Lorraine Tinney and I joined Starter Packs Inverclyde at their first coffee morning since the pandemic.
Thanks to the generosity of people who dropped into St Mary's Church hall to for a cuppa, the group raised almost £1,000 for this all-important charity.
