FORECASTERS have issued a yellow weather warning for snow and ice in Inverclyde.
The Met Office says showers are expected to move inland tonight, leading to a risk of icy patches and some snow over higher ground.
The warning will be in place from 5pm today until 11am tomorrow.
Residents can expect some roads and railways to be affected, causing longer journey times.
There may also be icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths, with the possibility of injuries from slip or falls.
