NETWORK Rail instituted speed restrictions on one of Inverclyde's lines due to wet weather.
The company said that a forecast of extreme rainfall meant speed restrictions had to be put in place at several locations over the weekend.
This included the Wemyss Bay line - between Port Glasgow and the terminal - until 9am on Monday.
The line has been particularly susceptible to flooding at Branchton in recent years.
