KIND young people at St Columba's School in Kilmacolm organised a Christmas toy appeal for needy kids.
The junior school charity committee gathered hundreds of gifts which will be distributed by Children in Poverty Inverclyde.
Primary five pupil Chloe Robertson, nine, said: "It makes us so happy to be able to help such a wonderful charity. I love being part of the charity committee. We support lots of good causes."
Early years assistant manger Kelly Aitken, who lives in Gourock and organised the donation, said: "I think this is the most generous collection yet and want to thank the charity committee for all their support."
School depute rector Allan McKay said: "We are very lucky that our parents and our families are so supportive.
"I think we are in a fortunate position and we want to give back. They show tremendous generosity every year."
