GREENOCK’S Martin Compston will return to TV screens in the new year as he embarks on a Scandinavian adventure.
The BBC has confirmed that its Norwegian Fling series will arrive on iPlayer in 2024.
It was announced earlier this year that Martin and friend Phil MacHugh were filming a sequel to their popular Scottish Fling series – which saw them embark on a tour of Scotland, starting in Greenock.

Norwegian Fling will see the pair travel 2,000 miles from Oslo to the Arctic North on a ‘spectacular trip’.
They will take in dramatic and remote Norwegian scenery, as well as some unexpected urban exploits.
Martin said: “I can’t wait for people to see this series.”
Phil added: “We’ve got some amazing adventures to show you.”
