POLICE have praised pupils at Notre Dame High School for their engagement in a workshop designed to help prevent hate crime.
Two officers from the Preventions and Interventions team attended the school this week to speak with pupils in S1 to S3.
The team aims to highlight the ‘devastating effect’ hate crime can have on individuals, as well as its ‘possible corrosive’ impact on communities.
Police Scotland Renfrewshire and Inverclyde said: “The pupils at Notre Dame were really engaging, and we loved speaking to them.
“Be good to yourself. Don't feed the hate monster.”
