YOUNG swimming stars jumped in to spread some Christmas cheer with a donation to a local charity.
Inverclyde Amateur Swimming Club stepped into to show their support for needy kids.
They donated dozens of selection boxes to Children in Poverty Inverclyde.
Club captains Honor McGeehan, 17, and Luke Garrity, 16, both Clydeview Academy pupils, chose the charity, which helps hundreds of families in the area every year.
Honor said: "We wanted to do something to help children this Christmas."
Charity chairman Pat Burke has hailed the young people for their generosity.
He said: "It is an exceptional donation, especially when it comes from young people."
