FIVE Greenock men are facing drugs supply charges including allegedly selling class A substances to undercover police officers.
Stephen Bonnar, 36, James Houston, 40, and Brandon Scott, 25, are accused of supplying heroin and cocaine to undercover officers at properties in Ann Street and Prospecthill View in December 2022 and January this year.
Houston is also said to have had heroin with intent to supply at Greenock police office's custody suite on March 4.
He appeared in handcuffs at the sheriff court having been remanded on the matters since March.
Another co-accused, 24-year-old Grant Watters, is charged with being in possession of cocaine with intent to supply at his home in Drumfrochar Road on February 24.
Meanwhile, 23-year-old Jamie Douglas, was allegedly concerned in the supplying of cocaine at a home in Ann Street on Valentine's Day.
Only Bonnar was missing from the dock when the quintet's case called in court on Friday, with his lawyer stating that he is currently in hospital.
Not guilty pleas were submitted on behalf of the other co-accused men by their respective solicitors.
Bonnar's case was continued without plea until January 9 while the other four accused were released on standard bail conditions and are due to return to court in April.
