A TEENAGE driver accused of being behind the wheel of a van in Greenock with more than two times the legal limit for a class B drug in his system has had his case continued at the sheriff court.
Richard Mullan, 19, is said to have driven a Fiat Doblo on Regent Street on Hogmanay 2022 when the proportion of THC - the main psychoactive ingredient in cannabis - in his blood was 'not less than 5.2mcg/litre'.
Prosecutors say this exceeded the legal limit of 2mcg per litre of blood.
Mullan, of Grieve Road, was not present when the case was called on December 22 and proceedings have been continued without plea until January 19.
