A GOUROCK DJ has rounded off his UK tour with one of his ‘biggest and best productions’ to date at Greenock Town Hall.

Bruce Glenny transformed the venue on Friday for a ‘boiler room style’ event to see out his busy year.

The event was organised by Summer Friends Productions – a company run by Bruce and friend Dylan McFadyen.

The event was the final date on Bruce’s recent tour, which saw him play top venues such as SWG3 in Glasgow and London’s Heron Tower.

Bruce, Dylan and their team spent much of Friday setting up some impressive staging for the town hall show.

Planning for the gig started around five months ago, with the duo working many late nights – and even Christmas Day – to get it over the line.

They hope to see more artists follow suit by hosting similar events in Greenock.

Bruce told the Tele: “I know Paisley Town Hall is getting more electronic acts and DJs in. Greenock Town Hall has got potential.

“I think it’s perfect for it, it just needs a couple of things updated. All the staff at Inverclyde Leisure have been amazing.

“We’ve already started planning this year’s tour, which includes more cities, even outside the UK.

“Hopefully next time when we bring it back to Greenock, it will be even bigger.”

Dylan added: “It was a good way to end the year and start 2024. We’ve got a lot of exciting plans for the next 12 months.”
