The biggest gigs coming to Glasgow (so far) in 2024 have been revealed.
Music fans are gearing up for a great year as nearby Glasgow prepares to welcome some major names to the city.
A list has been compiled including some of the exciting shows which will take place over the next 12 months.
With many more sure to be announced, we can’t wait to hear the city sing along!
The 1975
The 1975 will play multiple Glasgow dates for excited fans.
The alternative rockers will take to the stage twice at the OVO Hydro on the Still... At Their Very Best Tour.
Revellers will get to watch the band play on Thursday and Friday, February 8 and 9.
It comes after the foursome, consisting of singer Matty Healy, guitarist Adam Hann, bassist Ross MacDonald and drummer George Daniel, visited the city venue at the start of last year.
Rick Astley
80s pop legend Rick Astley will perform a UK-wide tour that will bring him to Glasgow’s own OVO Hydro in 2024.
He will take his show to the OVO Hydro on Saturday February, 24.
Astley is renowned for the rollicking Never Gonna Give You Up and has also confirmed a new LP in addition to his tour, titled 'Are We There Yet?'
Astley might boast one of the most varied age demographics of any 80s pop star thanks to the popularity of the internet trend ‘rickrolling’ which became popular again during Covid-19 lockdowns.
Niall Horan
Former One Direction star Niall Horan will stop in Glasgow as part of his worldwide tour.
The Heaven singer confirmed the gig before his headline performance at TRNSMT last year. He will play at the city's largest venue on February 28, 2024.
The 30-year-old Irish singer released his third studio album The Show in June earlier this year.
The Snuts
The Snuts announced two sold out Glasgow shows at one of the city's most iconic venues.
The popular Scottish indie band will perform at the Barrowlands in the East End on Tuesday and Wednesday, 27 and 28 this year.
Known for their hits Glasgow and Gloria, the group are also on the bill for Glasgow’s 2024 TRNSMT festival.
Happy Mondays
Beloved 90s rock band The Happy Mondays are also heading on tour - with two Glasgow gigs.
The Happy Mondays are taking to the stage at the Barrowlands on Thursday and Friday, March 14 and 15, to kick off their Been There Done That tour.
They will kick off the tour in the city before travelling around the UK performing at different venues.
Jason Derulo
Jason Derulo is coming to Glasgow on a brand new world tour.
The 33-year-old American music sensation will perform at the Finnieston venue on March 12.
Derulo has amassed over 18.2 billion streams worldwide as well as gaining a notable social media following with over 117m followers across all platforms.
James Arthur
James Arthur will be stopping in Glasgow on his upcoming tour.
The former X-Factor star will play the OVO Hydro on March 13 as part of his Bitter Sweet Love Tour.
His fifth studio album Bitter Sweet Love will be out January 26 after the release of new tracks Blindside and A Year Ago.
His return to the stage will see him perform eight arena shows across the UK and Europe.
James Blunt
James Blunt announced a Glasgow show for next year.
The You're Beautiful singer will visit the city's OVO Hydro on April 5, 2024.
It is part of his Who We Used To Be Tour which coincides with his new album of the same name which will be released on October 27.
James said: "I cannot find the words to say how excited I am to get back out on the road again on tour in 2024.”
Thirty Seconds to Mars
Thirty Seconds to Mars revealed a Glasgow date as part of their world tour.
The major US rock band will play the OVO Hydro on Tuesday, April 16.
Frontman and Oscar-winning actor Jared Leto climbed the Empire State Building in New York City to announce the monumental Seasons 2024 World Tour.
It will be the band's first headline tour in over five years.
Take That
Take That revealed their anticipated tour of the UK and Ireland - and they're coming to Glasgow.
After teasing fans with their logo splashed across the OVO Hydro, the iconic English pop group made it official.
However, two of the band's original five members, Jason Orange and Robbie Williams, will not be taking part.
Touring with support act Olly Murs, Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen will be performing three dates at the OVO Hydro: Friday to Sunday, May 3 to 5.
Olivia Rodrigo
Olivia Rodrigo will perform two nights at the OVO Hydro.
The Drivers License singer will be stopping in the city on Tuesday, May 7 as part of her Guts World Tour.
The Hydro also confirmed that the award-winning artist will also play a show on Wednesday, May 8 as demand was "so high".
Nickelback
Major rock band Nickelback have promised an OVO Hydro date as part of their World Tour.
The Canadian four-piece, who have sold more than 50 million albums worldwide, will turn out at the Finnieston venue on Thursday, May 16.
Known for their popular songs How You Remind Me, Rockstar and Far Away it will be their first tour in six years.
Twin Atlantic
Twin Atlantic confirmed a homecoming show in Glasgow for this year.
The popular Scottish band are set to perform at the O2 Academy on Thursday, May 23.
The gig comes as the band release their new single Asleep which follows Stuck In A Car With You.
Girls Aloud Girls Aloud
Girls Aloud Girls Aloud are doing a comeback arena tour with two Glasgow shows.
Cheryl, Nadine, Kimberley and Nicola will perform at the OVO Hydro on Saturday, June 8 as part of their new reunion tour.
After demand for tickets surged during the presale, the group has confirmed they will perform another date at the city venue.
They will play the Hydro again on Sunday, June 9.
Foo Fighters
Foo Fighters have announced a new gig in Glasgow.
The rock legend will perform at Hampden Park on June 17, with doors for the event set to open at around 5 pm.
It will come as part of their Everything Or Nothing At All UK Tour.
Liam Gallagher
Liam Gallagher has plans for two shows in Glasgow next year as he heads out on his UK tour.
The Definitely Maybe 30 Years Anniversary Tour will see the star perform the famous Oasis album along with B-sides from the era for two nights at Glasgow's OVO Hydro.
The 51-year-old will play in the city on Wednesday and Thursday, June 19 and 20.
The Killers
The Killers are set to play two shows at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow.
The West End venue will host the Mr. Brightside hitmakers on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 25 and 26.
Putting the news on X, OVO Hydro wrote: "Somebody told us THE KILLERS are coming to Glasgow and they are playing at the OVO Hydro on 25 + 26 June 2024."
P!NK
P!NK will perform at Hampden Park.
The pop star will entertain fans with two shows at the stadium on Friday and Saturday, June 28 and 29, this year as part of her previous 'Summer Carnival Tour'.
The shows will be the singer's first in Glasgow since 2019.
TRNSMT
Glasgow’s biggest music festival will return in 2024 filled with many exciting acts.
This years headliners include Liam Gallagher, Gerry Cinnamon, and Calvin Harris
Around 150,000 festival goers will descend on Glasgow Green from Friday to Sunday, July 12 to 14, for the seventh annual music festival.
Blink-182
The rescheduled dates for Blink-182's postponed Glasgow shows have been confirmed for 2024.
Last month, the American rock band cancelled the sold-out show hours before taking the stage at the city's OVO Hydro.
They were due to perform on two dates - Friday and Saturday, September 1 and 2.
The new dates have now been revealed as Thursday and Friday, August 29 and 30.
Slipknot
A huge American heavy metal band is coming to Glasgow.
Slipknot have revealed tour dates for a massive 2024 headline tour in venues across Europe and the UK.
The iconic band are celebrating 25 years with the gig set to be "explosive".
The band will take the stage at the OVO Hydro on December 15, 2024 with special guests Bleed From Within
