A FATHER and son are accused of injuring a man in an alleged assault with a glass bottle at a Kilmacolm restaurant.
Steven McGill, 53, and Owen McGill, 28, allegedly acted together to attack an unknown male at Carriages Bar and Restaurant on July 17, 2022.
Prosecutors claim the pair, of School Road in Port Glasgow, repeatedly kicked and punched the alleged victim to the head and body and repeatedly struck him on the body with a glass bottle.
They are also charged with being in possession of an offensive weapon.
Solicitor Gerry Keenan said at the latest calling of the case that CCTV footage is still outstanding and a further preliminary hearing has been scheduled for January 23.
The accused pair have maintained pleas of not guilty.
