A GREENOCK man has denied a charge of assaulting his partner at a property in Inverclyde - with a trial set to get underway this week.
Gavin O'Donnell allegedly attacked the woman on September 24 last year and is said to have repeatedly pushed her to the body causing her to fall to the ground.
It is claimed the 32-year-old, of Cardross Crescent, punched the woman to the body during the reported incident.
O'Donnell is further alleged to behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting, swearing, uttering derogatory and abusive remarks, engaging in a stand-up fight and throwing a bottle at a door.
Solicitor Gerry Keenan maintained his client's not guilty pleas and the case was continued to a trial scheduled for January 17.
