A LIFELINE suicide prevention charity has been given a tasty cash boost to the tune of £6,000 by Greenock's McDonald's fast food restaurant.
Man On! Inverclyde received the funding from the team via the company's McDonald's in the Community Foundation.
The foundation collects the proceeds from the 10p carrier bag charge in a pot and distributes the money to organisations across Scotland.
Stacey Caldwell from Man On said: "The funding will contribute to the development of our training programme which enables us to provide a safe, inclusive, relationship-focused and trauma-informed environment, and helps to remove the stigma attached to mental health.
"We look forward to using the funds to continue our support of the Inverclyde community."
McDonald's franchisee Alan Halliday said: "Man On provides a wonderful service to people in the local area and we hope this money helps them continue this good work."
