AN ALLEGED hit-and-run driver charged with fleeing the scene of a collision in Port Glasgow is set to stand trial at the sheriff court.
Margaret Harvey, 50, is accused of causing her Vauxhall Astra to collide with and damage a parked Mercedes-Benz B200 and leaving without providing details to police.
It is claimed that the 50-year-old - who was suspected of drink driving by police - later failed without reasonable excuse to provide breath samples to officers.
She is said to have committed the alleged offences at the Port's Farquhar Road and Greenock police station on November 2, 2022.
Harvey, of Lansbury Street in Greenock, has maintained pleas of not guilty and is due to have her case heard on June 18.
