A DRIVER alleged to have been behind the wheel of a car at a fast food outlet in Greenock while intoxicated is set to stand trial at the sheriff court.
Richard Doherty was unfit to drive through drink or drugs while in charge of a Jaguar XF vehicle at McDonald's on James Watt Way, prosecutors claim.
The 43-year-old, whose address was not given in court, is said to have committed the alleged Road Traffic Act offence on September 21 last year.
A summary trial at Greenock Sheriff Court is due to start on July 3.
