BUSY streets in Greenock town centre are to be closed for more than two months from today as construction work begins.
The entire length of Westburn Street will be off limits to traffic to facilitate works associated with streetscape improvements.

A section of West Blackhall Street, between Westburn Street and Nicolson Street – as well as a stretch of Nicolson Street between West Blackhall Street and West Stewart Street will be closed.
Access will be maintained for emergency services and vehicles delivering to businesses.
Inverclyde Council expects the roads to reopen at 5pm on March 27.
