SCOTRAIL has confirmed that its Gourock line had now reopened after all services were suspended due to high winds.
No trains ran on the operator’s network after 7pm last night as Storm Jocelyn arrived on Scotland’s shores.
These routes also now open:

🟦Glasgow Central - Gourock
🟦Glasgow Central - Largs
🟦Edinburgh - Helensburgh via Bathgate & Airdrie
🟦Glasgow Central - Prestwick Town
🟦Glasgow Central Inner Circle
It was the second full shut down since Sunday, after Storm Isha battered areas across the country earlier this week.
Lines remained closed this morning, with Network Rail teams working to carry out safety inspections of all routes.
🚁 Our Air Operations team are heading for Glasgow first. They'll help inspect the massive suburban network north and south of the Clyde from the air.
