A CHURCH reaching out to help people in need in Greenock's east end is appealing for donations of warm coats and clothes.
The congregation at Greenock East End Parish Church has set up a warm space drop in from their Open Door base in Belville Street.
They now open their doors twice a week with volunteers turning the heating on, keep the kettle boiled and served up filled rolls for local people.
Volunteers from the church also provide warm clothing for those who need and emergency parcels of food.
They offer local people the chance of food, clothes and a chat.
Volunteers run drop in sessions on Tuesdays and Fridays from 11am to 1pm. Any donations of warm clothing can be dropped off on those days, and also on Sundays from 11am until 1.30pm.
