HIGH winds are set to batter Inverclyde again this week, with forecasters issuing a yellow weather warning.
The Met Office expects strong gusts to cause disruption between 9am and 5pm on Wednesday.
Winds of up to 55mph are predicted, as well as heavy rain in the late morning and early afternoon.
During the period that the warning is in place, some bus, train and ferry services could be affected and journeys may take longer than usual.
High-sided vehicles could face delays on exposed routes and bridges, with damage to trees also possible.
Coastal routes and communities may also be affected by spray and large waves.
