FIRE crews were called to Clune Park last night following a blaze at a derelict block of flats.
Two appliances attended at Robert Street when the alarm was raised at around 9.30pm.
One fire engine remained at the scene this morning.
A spokesperson for the Scottish & Fire Rescue Service said: “Operations control mobilised two appliances and a specialist height appliance to the scene where crews extinguished the fire.
“Crews left after ensuring the area was made safe.”
