A SUICIDE prevention charity is teaming up with a local councillor to run a community outreach event in Gourock.
Cllr Sandra Reynolds and Man On Inverclyde are hosting a drop-in event at the town's Coppermine Community Centre on Tuesday from 11am-2pm.
Representatives from third sector organisations will be on hand to provide advice on topics including mental health and wellbeing, carer support, recovery and fuel poverty.
Cllr Reynolds says the event will follow the same model as recent cost of living crisis events hosted by Ronnie Cowan MP and Stuart McMillan MSP.
She added: "We've already hosted an event in Larkfield and we're hoping to run one in every ward across Inverclyde.
"We want to make sure we're linking people up with the services that are best for them."
Sam Magee of Man On added: "Some people don't want to go into the centre of Greenock or Port Glasgow, so we're bringing support and advice to them."
Refreshments will be provided on the day.
