ONE of Scotland’s top folk pop bands are heading for Greenock later this year as they kick off a run of ‘stripped back’ performances.
Tide Lines will bring their Elements show to the Beacon Arts Centre on May 1.
It is billed ‘an intimate acoustic and electronic reimagining’ of their music.
Frontman Robert Robertson said: “We're really looking forward to returning to Greenock.
"We have fond memories of a sold out Greenock Town Hall a couple of years ago and, this time, we're taking a very different, stripped back show to the Beacon.
“Elements allows us to play acoustic and ambient electronic versions of the songs that often take us back to how they were originally written - and also to talk a bit more about them during the show.
“We were genuinely amazed at how well these gigs went down at last year's shows, so we are excited to play them for a Greenock crowd."
Since releasing their first album in 2017, Tide Lines have enjoyed success both at home and overseas and recently returned home from a sell-out tour in Europe.
Tickets for the Greenock show will go on sale on Friday at 10am at bandsintown.com
