CALMAC’S ferries to and from Gourock have been suspended due to strong winds.
Dunoon sailings are cancelled until at least 3pm.
In the meantime, a shuttle bus service will run as close to timetable as possible.
The Gourock-Kilcreggan route is also suspended until further notice.
On its website, CalMac said: “Disrupting a sailing is a decision we do not take lightly because we know it will inconvenience our customers and the communities we serve.

"In this instance, the Master of the vessel has judged it is necessary in response to the assessment of adverse weather conditions.”
CalMac’s Wemyss Bay-Rothesay route is currently running as normal, but remains 'liable to disruption or cancellation at short notice' due to a forecast for strong winds.
Gusts of up to 48mph are predicted by the Met Office.
