A GREENOCK man has been accused of swearing and uttering a racial remark during an alleged incident in the town last year.
James Kerr, 43, is said to have uttered the remark while behaving in a threatening or abusive manner on October 19 at an address in Greenock.
Prosecutors say that Kerr, of Belville Street, committed the alleged offence while on bail and say they will prove it was racially aggravated.
The matter has been continued without plea at the sheriff court until March 1.
