TWO men said to have carried out an assault to severe injury in Greenock more than a year ago are to stand trial later this month.
Lee Millar and Alexander Brogan allegedly attacked a man on Inverkip Street on August 27, 2022.
It is claimed Millar and Brogan, aged 26 and 20, repeatedly punched the alleged victim and struck him on the head with a blunt implement, before seizing him by the clothing and causing him to fall to the ground to his severe injury.
Brogan was subject to a bail order at the time of the alleged violent offence, according to court papers.
Millar, of Carwood Street, and Brogan, of Inverkip Road, are set to stand trial on February 26.
