PATRIOTIC pupils from a Gourock primary school took to the stage in a Scottish spectacular in front of a packed crowd of parents.
Boys and girls at St Ninian's celebrated the Scots language in a pitch-perfect performance full of music and song.
The event marked the end of a block of learning which helped youngsters find out more about Scotland, and about how Scots language has been used in poetry and song over the years.
Every pupil in the school got the chance to take to the stage in the musical extravaganza.
Youngsters performed traditional Burns songs and poems, and gave their own rendition of traditional tunes including Caledonia, Auld Lang Syne, Bonnie Wee Jeannie McColl and Wee Willie Winkie.
They also took to the floor to show off their Scottish country dancing talents.
St Ninian's head teacher Siobhan Currie praised all of the pupils for their hard work and thanked parents for their support.
Mrs Currie added: "It was a fantastic day.
"We're so appreciative of the support shown by parents at our events. They always turn out in great numbers.
"Performing is a big part of our school curriculum as it really helps to build confidence, and finding out about our culture and heritage is also a big part of our learning.
"We wanted to showcase everything we found out about Scots language."
