A WEBSITE has been launched to collate the findings of research carried out as part of a project focused on Inverkip war memorial.
Hilary Fyfe, who lived in Inverkip for more than 20 years, started looking into the 29 names on the memorial in 2016.
The new site features biographies of the men listed on the monument – 24 of whom died in the First World War.
A note on its homepage states: “The war memorial is a central part of the history of Inverkip and it is hoped that by sharing the research to a much wider audience, it will give a new perspective to this granite monument.”
There are also forums on the website which can be used for discussions related to the memorial and other topics.
