A WOMAN was taken to hospital following a crash involving a car and a van in Greenock.
Emergency services were called to an incident on Murdieston Street shortly after 3.30pm yesterday.
Images from the scene show a white Toyota wrapped in police tape. The vehicle appeared to have mounted the pavement before colliding with a tenement wall.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.38pm on Monday 4 March we received a report of a crash involving a van and a car on Murdieston Street, Greenock.
“One person was taken to hospital. Enquiries are ongoing."
A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service added: “We dispatched one ambulance to the scene and transported one female patient to the Royal Alexandra Hospital.”
